our stay at Hans House was absolutely amazing — the owner, Han, is an incredibly nice and caring person, he provided us with a lot of info about Seoul and the surrounding neighbourhood and gave us his recommendations. the location is even better than great — it’s a nice quite neighbourhood in Sejong village, within a really close walking distance to a subway station (around 5 minutes), a food street, a bus stop (including the airport bus), several convenience stores and, more importantly, some of the best of Seoul’s tourist attractions — Gyeongbokgung Palace (it’s around 5 minutes away), Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong and so on. we were staying here in the summer, when it’s boiling hot, but our room had AC to help us survive, the fridge had cold water and the kitchen was equipped with everything you might need :) the room itself was quite spacious, really comfortable for three people i highly recommend Hans House to anyone coming to Seoul, be it for a few days or longer :) and can’t wait to come back here again myself!

The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood, which is quiet and safe. I had no issues walking back by myself in the evening. It is also within walking distance from the royal palaces, Bukchon village, and other traditional sites. The underground station is also just a few minutes away. There are a lot of restaurants and places to get a drink in the evening just a couple of steps away. The host is incredibly welcoming, took time to provide useful information and even gave me a map and guidebook of Seoul. On one occasion he even offered some fresh fruit and bean milk, which made for a nice breakfast. If I needed something, he would make sure to provide it asap. The room I stayed in was small but comfortable, and the bathroom had everything, from shampoo to clean towels. Just be aware of the korean style shower (which is comfortable, as long as you remember to remove anything that might get wet). The shared kitchen is always clean and tidy, and there's a lovely garden where you can sit when the weather allows it.

This was amazing! Mr Han is the best host you can find. It was my first time solo traveling, so kind of exciting. This stay made it the best start of my holiday. Mr Han is really nice. Gives you suggestions what places are nice to visit. He made me traditional korean pancakes and gave me fruit. The place is nice. You will stay in a hanok village. There is a garden which is really quit, only birds to hear. When you walk like 2 minutes you will be in a foodstreet. You are close to the palace, bus and metro station (line 3). It is a perfect place for exploring Seoul. The room is big and clean. And there is a shared kitchen where you can cook if you want to. I would really recommend this place to stay. The location and Mr Han will make your holiday special. So don't hesitate, book this place 🫶

Mr Hans was super helpful, I got lost late night because the taxi driver dropped me off at another alley and I could not see well at night. I sent him a message here and he went out of his way to find me and help with my luggage. I will always recommend this share house. It is walking distance to the train station and main road (if you will take a taxi instead). It is also near the Sejong Food alley for local Korean beef then Paris Baguette for sandwiches and if you find yourself having trouble with local shops, you can go to Chicken in the Chicken where the owner speaks good Englsh. The room is just ok for a single traveler and it has a private bathroom which was great. Amenities were good, they have a ref, washing machine, free water and coffee.

The location is exceptional. Less than 10 minutes walk via historical district from subway station and airport shuttle bus station. A lot of tourist stuff is located nearby: palaces, museums, walking areas, food streets. The house has very nice and cozy yard. I really love having such view from my window. House has a shared kitchen with free tea/coffee/water, microwave, fridge and other cooking stuff. The owner, Mr. Han, is nice, speaks English well, provides with directions, maps and some small gifts like cookies or free water. I was afraid it could be cold in the night (we travelled in March, and temperature was below zero and there was snow sometimes) but it was fine and sometimes even hot inside.
