The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood, which is quiet and safe. I had no issues walking back by myself in the evening. It is also within walking distance from the royal palaces, Bukchon village, and other traditional sites. The underground station is also just a few minutes away. There are a lot of restaurants and places to get a drink in the evening just a couple of steps away. The host is incredibly welcoming, took time to provide useful information and even gave me a map and guidebook of Seoul. On one occasion he even offered some fresh fruit and bean milk, which made for a nice breakfast. If I needed something, he would make sure to provide it asap. The room I stayed in was small but comfortable, and the bathroom had everything, from shampoo to clean towels. Just be aware of the korean style shower (which is comfortable, as long as you remember to remove anything that might get wet). The shared kitchen is always clean and tidy, and there's a lovely garden where you can sit when the weather allows it.

This was amazing! Mr Han is the best host you can find. It was my first time solo traveling, so kind of exciting. This stay made it the best start of my holiday. Mr Han is really nice. Gives you suggestions what places are nice to visit. He made me traditional korean pancakes and gave me fruit. The place is nice. You will stay in a hanok village. There is a garden which is really quit, only birds to hear. When you walk like 2 minutes you will be in a foodstreet. You are close to the palace, bus and metro station (line 3). It is a perfect place for exploring Seoul. The room is big and clean. And there is a shared kitchen where you can cook if you want to. I would really recommend this place to stay. The location and Mr Han will make your holiday special. So don't hesitate, book this place 🫶

The location is exceptional. Less than 10 minutes walk via historical district from subway station and airport shuttle bus station. A lot of tourist stuff is located nearby: palaces, museums, walking areas, food streets. The house has very nice and cozy yard. I really love having such view from my window. House has a shared kitchen with free tea/coffee/water, microwave, fridge and other cooking stuff. The owner, Mr. Han, is nice, speaks English well, provides with directions, maps and some small gifts like cookies or free water. I was afraid it could be cold in the night (we travelled in March, and temperature was below zero and there was snow sometimes) but it was fine and sometimes even hot inside.

The location was excellent close to metro and bus stop from airport. Close to the palaces and other areas I just walked everywhere. Communication was easy and whilst I initially failed on following the photos and map sent by Mr Han I eventually made it via some nice alley ways. I have added my photo walk up food street from subway exit 2 as per Mr Hans look for the sign 181 (photo) The food street has some amazing authentic food options. I found a tiny little coffee shop yellow colouring with succulents in window I was treated amazingly. Room value for money in middle of Seoul and love fact my money was going directly to locals and I got to know them a little bit.

The location was absolutely stunning - 2 minutes walk from a street food alley, 10 minutes from the big palace; but without the hustle and bustle you would expect. The garden is a hidden gem; the room was clean and spotless; coffee and cold bottled water for free. Mr. Han provided great information how to find the location and was an absolute great host (when he saw me having a drink in the garden he returned with some salty crackers to accompany the drink). When I would return to Seoul staying north of Han-river I would choose this location again!
